Strictly Come Dancing - Bad Blood.

Will someone please tell Sir Bruce not to get so excited when the audience give a standing ovation on Strictly. He always shouts 'Look at this, look at this!' as the couple saunter over. But, the thing is, they stand for everyone! No matter how good or bad, the audience jump to their feet. Why? If every couple get a standing ovation, then the standing ovation means nothing. They might as well just sit there and clap. But what's the point in that?

'Hey I'm in the Strictly audience, I'm going to stand even if I thought the dance was mediocre.'

What next, half the crowd doing a fox trot, so they can get even more of the Strictly experience? Don't get me wrong, a standing ovation is a great way of showing appreciation... When it's deserved. I'm struggling to remember, but did Jill Halfpenny's jive, Mark Ramprakash's tango, or any of Alesha's standout performances get one? Or did the audiences, back then, just feel content to sit, watch, and applaud and not try to shoehorn their way into the show. I suppose that's the way it is these days.

On other points, the judges are itching to have a Harry v Chelsee final. In fact, if you looked at how they chucked contestants out of that Swingathon thing, it was, more or less, how they want it all to finish. So expect lots of 10's coming Chelsee and Harry's way over the coming weeks, whether they deserve them or not. And none of this is bad blood because I got a measly 7/2 on Jason Donovan at the beginning of the series.
