Ringer - Sky Living.

Can there be anyone out there who has all the plot strands of Ringer straight in their heads? Someone who doesn't have to press pause every five minutes to say 'Wait a minute, who's that?' or 'Why did they do that, didn't that happen last week?' Not many I'll wager.

Let's face it, the vast majority of us are  lost, frustrated, just don't care or all three. Ringer started off as a fun thriller with twists and turns at every stage. Over ten episodes it kept you going and was enjoyable, but now, eighteen in, with four more to go it is all getting very tiresome, I have been twisted and turned so much that it feels like I'm wearing my kidneys on the outside. At times the show has to halt while the characters give us a quick update, which only serves to confuse us more.
To their credit, the cast have played the show very straight, and that can't have been easy at times, there is no winking to the camera.

But where do you go from here? Season two usually has to up the stakes. If that is the case then Ringer could end up like the legendary Oozlum bird which flies around in ever decreasing circles until it disappears up its own arse.
