Spartacus Blood and Sand - Own Up!

Come on, own up, how many of us when we watched that first episode of Spartacus Blood and Sand for the nudity and gore thought we would be hooked and shedding a tearor two by the end of it all? Not me that's for sure, but the last episode of War of the Damned certainly didn't let us down and was a fitting end to what has been a great and quite brilliant ride. Come on, admit it, your heart was racing as our heroes charged intoCrassus Legions for one last battle. We knew the vast majority wouldn't make it, but we wanted to see them go down fighting and boy did they do that.

But for a show that started off as blood and nudity it has been the characters that have kept us fans hooked. We have even grown to love, and understand, the odd seemingly every other word missing Spartacus Speak dialogue. But that's not to say the gratuitous gore, fruity language, and rampant nudity hasn't been great and Spartacus can boast some of the best and bloodiest screen deaths ever seen. Absence show ( see what I did there? ) I will certainly miss my Monday night fix. The end credits were great as well with all the major characters shown again. Credit should go to Sky for allowing them to run through without interruption. You know full well the BBC and ITV would've slung them in the top corner while they told you about a load of shows you don't want to watch. The end credits also had a nice, and fitting, tribute to Andy Whitfield.

Come on, admit it you've loved every minute.
