As you all know there are few more glittering and celebrity stuffed events than the Armchair Assassins end of year award ceremony. Last year's shindig was held at the swish,swanky Spud U Like in Grimsby. It was such a raucous affair that host Frankie Cocozza and Miss Grimsby have both never been seen since.
Well this year we are going even more up market, quite literally, because the event will be held in the ample car park of the new Lidl superstore in Prestatyn on December 29. Yes, I know, WOW was my first reaction as well. Hosting this year's prestigious event will be none other than that fat bloke who used to shout "Wonga!" on the adverts, and Pontins renowned dance duo Stavros Flatley, yeah them off of Britain's Got Talent. Our cabaret, in the car park,will be provided by the pop sensations Same Difference. Yes, you heard right. So as you can imagine a stellar star line up like this cannot just be booked on a whim, minutes of hard negotiation goes in to this kind of stuff and luckily they all shop at Lidl, so that helped. Tickets will sell fast, and priority will go to Armchair Assassins TV and Broadband customers, we are limiting it to fifty five tickets per application. The cost is £500 each and that includes an all you can eat and drink dash through the Lidl superstore. If you are one of the unlucky millions not to get in we will be showing the event on our new pay per view channel a snip at £500 per viewing.
