Mad Dogs

No doubt the grand idea of the enigmatic end of Mad Dogs The Finale was that we would muse and get lost in conjecture over the meaning of it all. In truth what we are really asking ourselves is :why was this show allowed to go on so long?

This wasn't a Sopranos or heaven forbid, Lost ending it just mirrored the overall laziness of everything that had gone on before. Mad Dogs run out of steam after the first series, and ever since it has been an incomprehensible shambles that lacked structure or any form of character development. Sky only probably kept it going because because they had the John Simm, Philip Glenister Life On Mars reunion type thing. But both were shadows of their former selves in Mad Dogs.

So now it is finally, thankfully, over we can leave Mad Dogs to those internet wraiths bored with trying to work out the symbolism of Lost, now they can have a pop at this.
