BBC Four, Good Luck Kim: A Ranting Ronnie Rant

In the midst of all this epic BBC 2 back slapping, wow what a great channel it is and let's face it we have all kipped long and hard in front of their programmes.  I noticed they have a new Controller one Kim Shillinglaw, which sounds like the title of a poor old legal drama. But the thing is Ms Shillinglaw also doubles up as Controller of BBC 4. Now come on how many of you thought BBC 4 had any sort of structure, so how does it work?
Does some dusty old bloke in brown overalls welcome Kim Shillinglaw to a big stock cupboard stuffed with of boxes full of old videos.
Old Bloke : There you go love.
Kim Shillingford : What's this?
Old Bloke : Well it's BBC 4 ennit.
Kim Shillingford : BBC 4 is a load of mouldy old videos?
Old Bloke : Course it is love. So dig in.
And I think we all subscribe to the adage: There's nothing new on BBC4. How many times have you watched a documentary on BBC 4, only to say twenty minutes in "Wait, I saw this ten years ago."
Plus half of the stuff on there has more dead celebrities than a season of Blankety Blank on Challenge. So good luck Kim as you rummage through the mouse infested boxes of BBC4.
