Blender Shows.

As you will no doubt remember, we here at Armchair Assassins, exclusivly revealed the existance of a giant blender where television executives throw in loads of old shows and come up with new ones. Well we can now tell you they have upgraded their blender and excelled themselves. Think of an action thriller, of the last few years, and it was probably thrown into the mix for Blacklist.

Criminal mastermind Raymond 'Red' Reddington ( James Spader ) mysteriously gives himself up to the FBI but, even more mysteriously, will only talk to rookie agent Elizabeth Keen ( Megan Boone ). The stunning originality doesn't stop there. Reddington has a 'blacklist' of terrorists and criminals he will reveal. All no doubt with names straight out of Homeland and 24. The pilot episode was a lot of running around, while the uber cunning Raymond pulls the strings, but what is his connection to Elizabeth Keen? Like any mastermind worth his salt he knows an awful lot about her past; but that comes with the territory in this kind of superior rip off.

All that said, James Spader seems to be having a good time as Reddington and Blacklist has pace and intrigue making it seem to come across like  a non nerdy Agents of SHIELD.
